Using Recepzion
Terms of service
The service, your responsibilities and how payment works.
Last updated:
1. Service and operator
Recepzion is operated and offered by Madunet, visiting address Oude Liermolenweg 5, 2678 MN De Lier, The Netherlands; Chamber of Commerce (KvK) 64953645; VAT NL002023793B14. Contact details are on the Contact page.
These terms apply to an Organization's use of Recepzion and its orders for Paid subscriptions or activation credits. Recepzion is intended for business, professional and service use, including accommodations, garages, museums, exhibitors/information points and other service providers. Individual hosts or landlords offering accommodation or services may also use it; registration is not limited to incorporated companies.
Recepzion provides digital Reception information, access and communication functionality. The service is intended for those professional purposes. Applicable mandatory rights remain unaffected by these terms.
2. Free and Paid
A normally registered Organization receives 40 activation credits once. This does not promise repeated promotional grants.
Free includes one Primary Location, Owner access and core Reception functionality: Content and categories, authored content languages, Access & Sharing, Customer access, Chat, Notifications, and Organization logo/primary-color branding. Additional Locations and Staff Members require Paid according to the service's entitlement rules.
Paid currently costs €9.95 excl. VAT per month or €99.95 excl. VAT per year, payable in advance. The selected paid period applies; no additional minimum contract duration is imposed by these terms.
A change between monthly and annual billing takes effect at the next renewal, with no proration. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid period; the paid entitlement remains available for that period. Paid and activation credits are separate: Paid does not include unlimited activations. A downgrade restricts functionality according to the entitlement rules rather than automatically deleting Reception data.
3. Activation credits
One qualifying first activation of a Customer's access to a Location consumes one credit. Pending or Refused access does not consume a credit. The same already-charged access is not charged again merely because it is revisited or reactivated according to the service's access rules. A different qualifying Location-access activation is a separate activation.
Purchased credits do not expire and are independent of Free/Paid entitlement. Insufficient credits may prevent a new qualifying activation. Credits are not charged per Chat message, notification or sign-in.
Current packages
Current prices are shown here and on the Pricing page. All amounts are in EUR, excluding VAT.
| Package | Credits | Net price |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 25 | €15.00 |
| Small | 100 | €50.00 |
| Growth | 500 | €200.00 |
| Business | 2,500 | €625.00 |
Current prices may change for future orders. The price displayed when the order is placed applies to that purchase; a later price change does not retroactively change the price of a completed purchase.
4. Payment, tax and confirmation
Prices exclude VAT. Applicable tax is calculated during payment according to the configured payment and tax process. Stripe is used for payment processing. Recepzion does not store full card numbers, CVC or card expiry details.
Opening Checkout or returning from its page does not by itself establish a completed payment. Credits or Paid entitlement are applied following authoritative payment confirmation. An unpaid Checkout may remain pending until completed or closed using the available controls.
5. Refund requests
There is no normal self-service refund flow for purchased activation credits. Exceptional or legally required refund requests are handled manually; contact Madunet through the Contact page. This policy does not exclude mandatory legal rights or mean that refunds are impossible in every circumstance.
6. Organization responsibilities
The Organization is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of its Reception information, for having the necessary rights or permissions for uploaded text and images, and for its use of Recepzion in accordance with applicable law. It must appropriately control Staff accounts and credentials and configure access policies, sharing links and QR codes for its intended use.
Do not publish unlawful content or malware, infringe third-party rights, abuse the service, or attempt to compromise or security-test it without permission. The Organization remains responsible for operational decisions based on its Reception content.
7. Software and supplied content
Madunet retains its rights in Recepzion, its software and branding, subject to the rights of relevant third parties. The Organization retains its rights in and responsibility for content it supplies. It grants Madunet the limited rights necessary to host, process and display that content to provide Recepzion. Madunet does not claim ownership of Organization content.
8. Availability and maintenance
Continuous or uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, technical failures, internet interruptions and external-provider outages may affect the service. Madunet may perform maintenance or change technical infrastructure. No uptime percentage, response-time SLA, service-credit or compensation scheme is promised.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Madunet is not liable merely because Recepzion is temporarily unavailable. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Restrictions, suspension and data
Madunet may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, unlawful use, non-payment or technical integrity. Suspension does not itself confiscate purchased credits or authorize arbitrary deletion of all data.
Ending use or losing access does not automatically erase all related records. Data handling and retention remain subject to the Privacy policy, applicable legal requirements and the relevant Organization relationship. Contact Madunet to discuss account or data requests.
10. Liability
The service depends on internet connectivity and external providers. The Organization must assess whether its use and operational decisions are appropriate for its circumstances. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Madunet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss resulting from use of, or inability to use, Recepzion.
No provision excludes or limits liability or mandatory rights where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
11. Privacy and data-processing relationships
The Privacy policy describes processing through Recepzion. An Organization remains responsible for the purposes and context of its customer relationship and the applicable requirements for its content and use. Specific data-processing arrangements may be needed between Madunet and the Organization; these terms do not imply that such an agreement already exists.
12. Governing law and questions
Dutch law applies. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law. Mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
Questions about these terms, your use or an order can be directed to Madunet through the Contact page.
